Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my reservation is confirmed at the hotel? A booking is confirmed with us only if the following has occurred: you have paid a 30% deposit to our bank account and have received a confirmation number from us.

When is the balance due? Unless stated otherwise, in most cases at check-in.

I have stayed at the Ostria before and would like to book exactly the same room, is this possible?
Of course we will try our best to ensure you stay in your favorite room but cannot always guarantee it will be exactly the same room number.

In which currency can I pay?
We only accept Euros.

Are rates quoted per person?
We quote our rates per apartment.

Does the hotel offer a transfer service? Unfortunately, this service is not available at this current time, we hope to offer transfers sometime in the near future.

How do I reach the hotel from the airport? Taxis are easily available outside the airport upon arrival, approximate journey time is 15 minutes and costs 15 euros. From the port, journey time is 10 minutes and costs 8.50 Euros.

Is there any public transport available? Buses - bus terminal is located at the port running every 15 minutes and costs 1.10 euros to reach the hotel (bus stop No. 16).

If our flight is cancelled / delayed / or we miss it and we arrive at the hotel a day later, will we still be charged for the first night?  Yes, you will be charged as we hold the room for you.

Is there an iron and ironing board available for guests? Yes, just ask at Front Desk who will arrange to bring it to your room.

Is there a bus stop nearby? Yes , its just 10 meters far away from the entrance of the hotel.

Are any taverns or super markets nearby? Yes, there are super markets next door for your daily food  shopping and few traditional taverns around the hotel for your dinner selection.
